However, two major updates seems to have had an impact. They were inaugurated on May 22, 2013.

At first glance, an abusive referencing can lead to an exaggeration in the use of incoming links. Therefore, from a technical point of view, it is crucial to avoid as much as possible to systematize the use of the same link anchor of backlinks. The ideal would be to vary the associated queries concerning the return links. The Penguin 3.0 version focuses on the use of links. On the other hand, the Penguin 2.0 version cooled the SEO back hat and the spammer while favoring sites that have a qualitative content. They highlight quality sites.

There are several spammers in the web world. Some take shortcuts by cheating. To solve this problem, Google has put in place algorithms that are now ensuring the quality of results. Penguin requires companies, individuals to present a friendly site, an excellent ergonomics that is more committed on the quality of the content.

Several sites lost their ranking after the launch of the Penguin algorithm. For designers who fill in many ads and have interesting content, cannot get good positioning.
